OneJustice SummerEvery day, OneJustice works with law students to empower California's most vulnerable people - people who need legal assistance just to gain their most basic civil rights. There are more than 100 legal services organizations who provide the safety net for these low-income Californians in need. The legal services attorneys who serve these clients every day are so busy helping those in need that they must often put aside research on long-term strategies or the legal issues facing their nonprofits.
OneJustice is all about connecting these research projects with law students eager to help. OneJustice matches nonprofits in need of research help with law firms and summer associates who provide the research on a pro bono basis. This work helps legal services organizations become more effective and able to serve more clients.
OneJustice also offers summer associates Justice Bus trips. For more information about OneJustice Summer, please contact Michael Winn at mwinn(at)one-justice.org.
